2 eggs
2 slices of bread, crumbled

I/m not a meatloaf person,(hubby is, and I haven't made it for him in a long time)... BUT this sounds do-able without the extra chopped onions, (to me there's probably plenty of onion in th soup mix) and I think I'd take the mashed potatoes and Gruyere cheese on the side.....Thanks :)

Started out with the intentions of following the recipe but didn't quite get there.

1) used a mixture of ground turkey and beef (more turkey than beef)
2) garlic, eggs and Worcestershire sauce - yes
3) had no french onion soup mix I added a box of Zatarains Jambalya mix and omitted the bread.
4) a salad and beets instead of mashed potatoes and cheese

It was very tastey. I will try your recipe when I have picked up the correct ingredients. :D
