Sail On Elizabeth Taylor
Reports are coming out that she passed away during the night.
Take me for what I am, a star newly emerging.
I accept the new found man, and I set the twilight reeling.
I accept the new found man, and I set the twilight reeling.

Sail on Liz...
Be good and you will be lonesome
Be lonesome and you will be free
Live a lie and you will live to regret it
That's what living is to me
Be lonesome and you will be free
Live a lie and you will live to regret it
That's what living is to me

Re: Sail On Elizabeth Taylor
I met her once. My roommate while I was in college had to interview
"the Virginia Senatorial candidates wives" for the radio station he worked at.
I know .... (yawn).
I drove him down for the interview and it wasn't until we
were there that it dawned on either of us
that Elizabeth Taylor was the wife of senate candidate John Warner!
She had violet eyes you could swim in ... even at an older age.
Sail on Liz.

Oh no!!! Sail on, amazing lady.
My favorite was her role in Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf and an inspiration for all women actors.
Omg. Or as Maggie the cat.
Many, many contributions that paved the way for so many others.

You aren't old when your hair turns grey,
You aren't old when it falls away,
But if your mind makes a promise that your body can't fill,
Then you know that you're over the hill

Sail on Ms. Taylor....you were one of the kind....
Re: Sail On Elizabeth Taylor
What a life she led!
National Velvet, Butterfield 8, Virginia Wolff.
An activist on AIDS when nobody else cared about what was then perceived as a "gay disease."
