Jimmy and Pensacola Margaritaville??

Post by DOKKEN88 »

Anyone know of any rumors that he will be showing up at his hotel?? I live in Pensacola and have had my phins crossed since last year that he would play, I would be in town for it and I would know when it was happening!!!
I think two of three stars are aligniing this month just not sure of the "when" part. I would assume he would drop by his hotel and do a little show since he will already be in town! Landshark Landing is my uneducated guess!

The "it could happen" is the easy part.. the WHEN it could happen is the hard part. It only takes me about 15 minutes to get to the hotel but I need some heads up!

may be a pretty good chance of that the last weekend of April since he's playing the Pensacola Naval Aviation Museum benefit on Thursday April 28th 8)
you can't lay on the beach and drink rum all day if you don't start in the morning 8)

Im hoping..just have to have a heads up..I can't camp at beach for 4 days. Someone else mentioned they heard he was playing on Wed. I have no idea where their information came from. They posted it in the Tour Date forum.
I think will head down Wed. and check it out. Should be pretty easy to figure out if he is going to show..Keeping Phins crossed for Wed. afternoon. I just need someone with some INFO!!!

I wonder how the live broadcast to the big screen will go tonight at the Pensacola Margaritaville? What fun that would be...

Wish I was home to give you a review.. I have been working out of town for 10 weeks. Going home next weekend. That's why I'm hoping for perfect timing and a Landshark Landing "Surprise Show"!!!

Awwww, it's a shame you had to miss it. The lady who called in said that the parrotheads were out bright and early to the beach and near Landshark Landing and they were much better organized than they were for the Gulf Coast Show they had on the big screen.

She said they were tailgating all day. Wonder if they just lined up or had tickets of some sort?

Sounds like lots of fun. JD has been talking about it on RM for about a month.

I wish that all the margaritavilles would show he concert on a big screen, I'd be happy to drive to Mohegan sun right now, grab a frozen margarita, and a lone palm ale, and a nice order of volcano nachos!

There were no tickets for this. All the local PH clubs along with the guest staying at the hotel had a very small area roped off. The only thing we had to show was our club name tags.

Don't know what this lady meant about being better organized then the Gulf Coast Show. It was okay. The folks at the home base of Margaritaville needs to look at this property again.

I looked behind me and it was sad that this beach was not full of folks.

It was a great night and we all had a great time watching the concert. Would be nice if they did a couple more of these.

When I have talked with the powers that be at a couple of the Margaritavilles that i have visited they have told me that there is no planning ahead of time for Jimmy to show up. They usually find out that he is going to drop in about 5-10 minutes before he gets there. If you are going to go their and hang out anticipating Jimmy to show up do not get your hopes up or you will be disappointed. If he shows up when you happen to be there you will be pleasantly surprised.

I'm still trying to get tix for the Museum show, nowhere to be found. Guess I'll have to hang out at the Landshark Landing and the Hotel and hope for the best.
