Okay, I give (Waiting for the Next Explosion)

Post by F1NZUP »

The live version of this song was played on RM last night, and when I looked it up on this site it said it could be found on Live in Anguila. I have that download, and I had never heard it before, and after checking Amazon and itunes, it doesn't appear to actually be on that CD. Am I crazy (that's always a good place to start  ) or am I just missing it. I really liked the live version and would like to have it. Any help would be appreciated. :D

I was live in Anguilla and I don't remember hearing it there. But I'm old so me not remembering something isn't surprising.

I agree, "Beach House on the Moon" but not "Live in Anguilla."

You are very correct saying it is listed on the BN database on the Live In Anguilla show...

http://www.buffettnews.com/resources/songs/?song=193

But the song on Live In Anguilla is actually Waiting In Vain

Waiting For The Next Explosion was done live at almost all the 1999 shows.

The start of the 10 year run of only playing Jones Beach in even numbered years was 1998 and I didn't start traveling to shows until 2000. The only 1999 show I went to was Madison Square Garden in February so I've never heard it live.

Odd story---I had Buffett CDs loaded on my car CD player and had been listening to them prior to 9/11, when I switched to all news for several weeks. When I returned to the CDs, this was the first song that came on---creepy!
