"Chile Pepper" magazine has a new owner/publisher.

The July 2011 issue is, I believe, the 2nd issue under the new ownership and is on newstands now. I like the revised format and the content. More info available online at http://www.chilepepper.com

Sorta might not belong here...but then again...I put hot sauce on my nuts.

Seriously though...I do like peanuts of all kinds (boiled with HOT stuff is awesome), pistachios etc and sometimes will spinkle hot sauce on them to give them personality.

PLANTERS has these 5 Alarm Chili dry roasted peanuts that are realllly nice. Not sure how long they have been around but, Karen picked them up today.

They are hotter than I expected and to my surprise do not contain MSG. (bad stuff, I *try* to stay away from).

These will be a guest at the Independence day festivites this weekend at my bungalow.

Jim, This is a relatively new product from Planters. Tried my first jar this week. Surprisingly nice little kick of heat!

Yeah... I saw some of the previews.
Some of it looked painful.
Did you see the show ...what is it called...extreme foods or something like that?

Jim,

I think that was an episode of "Outrageous Food" on the Food Network...... :o

Personally, I love spices, sauces that enhance the flavor of food, not cause bodily harm!!
