Bill Gallo was an illustrator who worked for years at the New York Daily News in the sports department and also wrote a weekly column.

He was well known for including almost anyone and everyone from the world of sports, but his most iconic character would probably be his take on The Boss (and I don't mean Bruce)

Sail on Bill Gallo.
Spent the first 30 years of my life in the NY/NJ area and as a HUGE sports fan, Gallo's art was a fixture.
