Re: New Cast Member to Replace Sheen.....
I actually like him, although isn't he younger than Jon Cryer? I wonder how/if they'll tweak the story line. I would have preferred John Stamos just because he has a certain look that I think would have worked but no one asked me!
I think it's going to be hard to replace the role in any case considering Charlie Sheen really IS Charlie Harper.

snore....
I was kinda hoping that they would cancel it. The story line got soooo repetitive and tiresome.
If they woud just get rid of the constant reruns every day of the week, I would be even happier. (We only have one TV in our home and it is in the same room where I have my PC and spend my BN time....that show is NOT my favorite "background music") For some reason the other occupant of this house finds it amusing.

I'm kind of with you, Nutmeg. And considering that the kid on the show had his growth spurt over the summer, the writers are going to have their work cut out for them. We shall see....nutmeg wrote:snore....

Re: New Cast Member to Replace Sheen.....
He was on That 70's Show which I really enjoyed when he was not on the screen. I'm not a fan of his. I was really hoping cBS would just buy out the other actors and just let the show disappear. A good sit-com lasts 7 years at best before it gets stale. Even though this is the only sit-com I watch regularly, I would be glad to see it go.

Re: New Cast Member to Replace Sheen.....
I think Rob Lowe could have pulled this off.
Can't see AK working but who knows? The show actually hasn't been funny for a while now. They should just end it already.

If this indeed true, the press reports say he won't be reprising the role created by Charlie Sheen, he'll be playing an entirely new part.ScarletB wrote:I think it's going to be hard to replace the role in any case considering Charlie Sheen really IS Charlie Harper.

Re: New Cast Member to Replace Sheen.....
I can't imagine the plot twist that dumps Charlie Harper from the scene,
but his character had gone almost completely stale, anyway...
...so I'll give it a chance to re-invent itself, because the rest of the cast is too good to waste.
Chuck Lorre will have to do a better job than those who tried to re-boot Scrubs
Maybe a car crash?....hmmmm

Loved "That '70's Show", but I haven't seen Kutcher in anything even remotely tolerable since then.
