RV Parking For Cincinnati?

Hi everyone!
I've been to the concert in Cincy for many years straight and am planning a return trip this year (despite having moved 3/4 the way across the country to San Diego), but my friends and I this year were debating renting an RV and I was wondering if anyone had previous experience with this at Cincy?
I've seen RVs in the Coney Island tailgating lot across the street from Riverbend, but I don't know if there's any special permission or other such red tape that we would need to go through for that. It would rock if we could get there the night before and stay until the morning after, but I don't know if that's acceptable. Though, it always seems the RVs are there when I show up and still there when I'm leaving.
Anyway, any assistance that you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
