Hello Everybody,
The wife and I had a great time at the MBH. The hotel was wonderful. Our room faced the gulf coast so the view was fantastic. We never felt overwhelmed by the Jimmy Buffett theme (like we would). So I think even the casual fan would have a great time staying there. I heard the hotel was not built with Margaritaville in mind. Jimmy was brought in late and loved it then wanted it to be his. Also I heard JB bought the lot next to the hotel to build a Margaritaville reasturant soon. There is nothing post saying this is coming soon just what I was told.

Thanks for your info!

The wife and I are looking at planning a last-minute trip to go there next week, but prices are steep. Anybody know of any promotional or discount codes we could use?

If you go to Expedia and book thru them you will get a lower price. I priced out a Queen Gulf View room and MH gave me a total of $1412. Priced same room out thru Expedia and it was a little over $100 cheaper. Hope this helps!

The wife and I vacationed at the MBH last week and absolutely loved it! Prices are STEEP, but we both agreed it was our favorite part of the vacation. We ate a lunch and a dinner at Frank and Lola's while we were there and were very impressed with the food, and prices are actually not too bad there. My favorite part was laying by the pool on Saturday night gazing into the starry sky listening to the palm trees in the breeze and the Great Woods show being played live on the pool speakers!

Beach hotels can also be discovered for as low. The contract price at many of the resorts contains enjoyment and tennis offers. Reductions can also be acquired, with some resorts providing several discounts that can be used in dining places. The best offers can be acquired through systems such as pay for two night time and remain for three, etc. Beach front resorts price much more than other places.

When the place opened the word was the restaurant would open in May 2011. No updates have been mentioned locally.
