Boston Bruins, why they should win the Cup.....

Post by Johnny's Lounge »

Because they should. That's just the way I feel about it!
I remember the last one in 1972, I was almost 11 years old. I want to see it again!

this is the logic fail I was speaking of that the Bruins should win because
"they are due to keep up with the other sports teams in Boston , who have won championships in this decade"

Well aware the Isles aren't eligible. :x . I was just pointing out that
if the Bruins are to win for that reason then the Isles are in line..

Well, you never know!
A few weeks ago I wouldn't have expected to be waiting for the B's to start playing in the finals for the Cup!

If he doesn't win another Vezina there is something wrong.
It's just too bad it took so long for him to get to this point in his career.
Hope he has a few more years like this.
FOR THE BRUINS, THAT IS! (never trade him)

I've met Timmy Thomas a few times, as he went to school at UVM, and I had season tickets. We watched him, Martin St Louis and Eric Perron go to the Final Four. Timmy also runs a summer hockey school locally. He's a real nice guy.
That said, I'm rooting for the Canucks. I won't get into what I think of the Bruins as a team, because this is one of those times where the old addage "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all" comes into play.

I can't believe that nobody has said that because they are AN ORIGINAL SIX Team
Did you hear the one about me being a punk?
Did you hear the one about me being a drunk?
Did you hear the one about me losing my nerve?
Or how I'm just another f**** sheep in the herd?
Did you hear the one about me giving a s***?
Cause if I ever did I don't remember it.

Even though I'm hoping the Bruins win, if they win the Cup, I'm staying off the streets of Boston, especially if they take it in 6, since that game is in Boston.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

yeah , but the Knicks , Mets , Jets , Rangers and the Nets haven't won in this decade or in ....Cetlics , Patriots and Red Sox have won in this decade......my comment was based on all 4 sports teams wiining the trophy in the same decade.....not many cities can make that claim

Tim Thomas. UVM '97, just like me and my wife. Sorry to see Tampa Bay knocked out because we were closer with St. Louis, but seeing Thomas win his first, especially after the Olympics snub, would be awesome.
