Taking the family to Pensacola and would love to hear from my fellow BNers where to go for great seafood and any other local restaurants that serve up great food. Thanks to all and have a great summer!

Here are a few suggestions:
Peg Leg Pete's on Pensacola Beach:
http://www.peglegpetes.com/
Fun little restaurant/bar with a nice happy hour and late night fun on the beach
Dharma Blue:
http://www.dharmablue.com/
Great food in an very intimate atmosphere. Romantic.
Joe Patti's Seafood:
http://www.joepattis.com/ (for the cook it yourself person)
This is a "seafood store" and delicatessen. It is huge! You just have to go there and see for yourself. Buy it there, cook it at home. They package for travel.
And of course, McGuire's:

Not a true seafood restaurant but a great Irish restaurant. Order a couple of Irish Wakes and then go check out the bathrooms. Just saying.
There are plenty of places for good seafood. Here is Trip Adviser's link to Pensacola seafood restaurants:

Happy hunting and safe travels. The coast is clear.

I enjoyed Flounders Chowder House when we were there. It's also a fun place for the kids.

I ate at Peg Leg Pete's last night and it was fabulous! 35 cent raw oysters on Wednesday nights is a steal! They call them "Pensacola Viagra" and say they'll go through about 1500 pounds on a Wednesday night

The Oar House is a nice place, not on the beach but on the water at Bayou Chico in town. Flounders is one of my favorites on the beach if I've got lots of bucks to spend. Peg Legs is where I go for a good meal at reasonable prices.

I really enjoyed Flounders when we were there after the Gulf Coast Show. The decor was interesting and they have a drink called "diesel fuel" that will be enough for the DAY!!

. Loved the seafood nachos.

I go to Flounders every year for my birthday, used to live across the street at the marina. It's quiet in December, always sit by the fireplace.

The Native Grille has the best fish tacos anywhere on the gulf coast!

One of my favorite places is
A little restaurant called The Fishing hole
15 Brent Lane
Nice little seafood place
place in an out property at the old strip mall at the corner of Palafox and Brent Lane. It has recently expanded to the suite next door, so there seems to be plenty of room now.
Another one I liked is the
Bimini Bar below
Hemingway's Island Grill
400 Quietwater Beach Rd. Pensacola Beach, FL 32561-2059
(850) 934-4747
www.hemingwaysislandgrill.com
Last I heard that on Wednesday nights they had live music and $1 Fish Tacos and $4 Mojitos.
I went there last summer and really liked their fish tacos
Writing this is making me me hungry thinking about the gulf Coast and all the seafood I ate when I was down there last summer
