Chicken Jerk at the Pork Pit! Yum! It's along the bay on Gloucester, a 4 or 5 minute walk from Margaritaville. The grill is giant! Have some drinks at Margaritaville, but eat at the Pork Pit. Lots of people coming in for takeout as well as eating there. This is the real thing. Wish I was there now!
Re: Jamaica
Love Jamaica. Agree with Pork Pit. A fun place to go at night with the locals. We have been to Jamaica 15 + times, rent a car and venture out of resort/hotel/condo each time with no problems. Locals are very friendly. Have many island friends. If you have a car or have the time it is worth a drive to 7 mile beach in Negril (if you're a beach person) it is a pretty beach. Rick's Cafe is nice to spend some time, lunch and watch the people cliff dive. Maybe 17 yrs old would like diving, it can be done from various heights. Also it is a tourist thing to do but doing Dunns River Falls in Ochos Rios is fun (at least 1 x). Theres a cool river raft in Montego Bay , Craft market in Montego Bay for home made craft items. Have Fun.

Forgot Zip Lining.. Probably a thing a 17 yr old would love.
