Jimmy just played "God's Own Drunk" at Camden. I thought there were copyright disputes. And, by the way, Mac played an awesome guitar accompanying Jimmy.

Well worth it! In my humble, drunk opinion, this is one of the best Jimmy Buffett shows I've ever heard.

Awesome show with great set list. Best night I've had since GW.

I've been going to Buffett shows since 1985. I wasn't even at this show. I listened to it on RM. In my opinion, this is one of the best Buffett shows I've ever heard. There is no chance this guy is going to retire.

I believe they got the copyright issues under control a while back, he said, dimly recalling a story told by a friend to another friend's uncle who heard it from a guy who knew a buddy of Jimmy's attorney's poolboy

I'm not a big fan of Gods Own Drunk (I usually skip over it on YHTBT) but I have to say that the version tonight was outstanding.

Did ya get to hear it? Mac was great on the special guitar. I think he said it was homage.

I never cared much for this song. It is fun on karaoke night though. Everyone just looks at you like "what the hell?"

I did! I was struggling a little to stay awake, though, and missed what Mac said about the guitar. The guitar sounded great though!!

Last time I remember hearing God's own Drunk was at the Hurricane Hannah show at Great Woods in 2008....middle of the show, Jimmy throws everyone (even Mac, who was really surprised) off stage and does it solo....was one of those "Never forget" moments

Totally a never forget moment. I knew something cool was coming up when Jimmy waved off Mac and Mac looked at him with eyebrows raised halfway to his hairline and said, "Are you sure?" Then Jimmy waved him off again. He totally called an audible and did it without the teleprompter.

It's called a resonator and they have a very distinctive sound.
