 Mo, Jess can longer be trusted with small electrical items on concert days! I was sooo looking forward to the pic's of Dave lifting each one of them up in the air. You should have seen it....he totally doesn't remember doing it either!..just a little buzzed

Hmmmm.......I'm guessing you mean no longer.....yes, she has misplaced yet another camera! Just one of this year's casualties, the other, is the fdil's phone, which was found at GW..they sent son a message....anyway I'm guessing the pictures were on her camera and not yours:-?

Funny, I don't think either girl remembers it either, as nothing has been said about it here.....yeah the 2 of them were a little buzzed too....and where was the good mom....off with Flat Kat somewhere

ROFLMA.....I've been thinking the exact same thing. But if schedules work out, I'm forgetting about the beach and heading to Webster that day. :D Did I mention the boss changed the Sat. schedule for this year, in Nov. of last year, and didn't tell me til April/May, consequently I don't remember which Sat I'm working now and which ones I'm not....the schedule is at work. I will however be bringing the dates to work w/me on Monday. :)

Now I have a choice to make. Grace Potter is on the waterfront in Burlington the same Aug weekend that JJW is in MA.
One is free and a half hour from my house - the other would require me mooching off of my good natured friends in Merrimac. [smilie=cheeky-grin.gif]
GW - 7/19
Great Northern MOTM - 7/20-21
Hershey Labor Day Weekend Show - 8/29

I'm working all 3 shows on the Burlington Waterfront that weekend....checking tickets for Nas & Damien Marley on Friday, and Grace's shows on Saturday and Sunday. Just remember, Saturday and Sunday are afternoon/evening shows, with a lot of other bands before GPN closes each night.

What time do you think I should get there? I'm sure it's going to be a mob scene if the weather is good.

Depends what day you're going....Saturday doors open at 4pm...on Sunday it's 3pm. I think Sunday has the better supporting line up....
Sunday lineup:
Taj Mahal Trio
The Wood Brothers
Anais & Hadestown Orchestra
Hoots & Hellmouth
Eames Brothers
Barbacoa w/ Lowell Thompson
Split Tongue Crow
Fredericks Brown

I wouldn't know, I have no idea who any of those people are - I'm basically going to see Grace, but I don't want to be standing so far back I can't see anything at all. As an old person this is the one thing I don't like about Burlington. We get all these bands that appeal more to the alt music and college crowd. I understand WHY of course but I just don't "get" a lot of what we have here.
