Yup, I was at work when that one came out too - everyone else in my office is as shocked and disgusted as I am.

I wasn't following it either but I usually look at CNN over the course of a day and knew the trial was going on - having read about it when it all first happened. I really figured they'd find her guilty of SOMETHING after not reporting her child missing for 31 days you figure she had to have done or known something but apparently not.

My guess is it had more to do with 'reasonable doubt' than legit innocence.

I'm having a total WTF moment over guilty to lying to police but not guilty of the crime itself.

I'm sure that's it - but if she lied then WHY was she lying? I'm beginning to wonder if we're doing this the right way. Although karma sure slapped OJ in the butt, hopefully it will do the same for this chick. I want to just slap the smile off her face.

No, don't bother - like I said I was aware of it peripherally so was curious when they mentioned the verdict was coming out this afternoon. I'm sorry I looked.

i'm probably one of the few that wasn't shocked she got off.....they had no physical evidence of her doing it..from the bit of info i've heard......that said....i think she is guilty as hell....she might of not did the actual physical damage , but i'm sure she knows who, and had a hand in it.....i may be wrong , but did they not put her on the stand....i only followed bits and pieces on the Today Show....she showed no emotion from what i saw and, wasn't she out partying something like 4 days after they found the child....not to many moms would be doing that after a death of there child
