Short term memory problems there buddy? Maybe you should lay off the sauce for a bit.
Which team has been to the AFC Championship 2 years in row? And which team hasn't? Get used to it, you guys are old news... :P
You are actually bragging about getting to the game before the actual championship? Not winning the game! Just getting to the semi-finals. This could make my top ten list of "you know you are a fan of a pathetic loser sports team when . . . "

This, after the team you are mocking, won 3 Super Bowls, made 4 Super Bowl appearances (but I would never brag about losing a big game), a perfect regular season, and a couple of record setting win streaks.

Perhaps you want to travel back to 1969 when the Jets actually mattered. Because the whole "YIPPPEEEEE we made it to the AFC championship" level of "brag" makes me want to sign you up for therapy. The equivalent would be me bragging about the 2003 Red Sox. "Gosh darn! We came so close . . . we should be proud of our efforts" . . . bullsh*t.
Talk all you want about the 3 Super Bowl championships, the undefeated season, the record winning streaks, all the other BS. None of that means s*** if they can't close the deal and it's been 6 years and counting since they won a game that mattered. The last two years they were one and done in the playoffs and both of those losses were at home.
and, when was the last time the Jets won a game that mattered!!

Looks like that is how it's going down...
Tavaris Jackson is finally getting out of the dysfunction of the Vikings and Farve, McNabb is supposedly being brought in to mentor the newest QB. Good luck Mr. Jackson, hopefully you get a chance to shine and show your worth. As for McNabb, feh. Best years on this guy are long gone. Hopefully you can teach.
McNabb's best days of playing are certainly behind him, but I'm sure he's got a lot to offer in terms of helping mold a rookie. Especially if they're looking for somebody with McNabb's playing style. As we all know, just because these guys were great quarterbacks in college doesn't equate great pro-quarterbacking (Heath Schuler) and they need guidance from coaches and seasoned players.

I would suggest Brett Farve get into that, but since I question his common sense and intelligence, I'm not sure he could articulate his instinctive football playing to others. He may be the 'Rain Man' of quarterbacks, sexters, and painkiller addicts.

You can say "Go Browns".

I say "Go Cowboys" all the time even though Wade was running them into the ground last season. I love my team, even when they can't find their @$$ when both hands. I can appreciate loyalty.

Do Cowboy fans ever consider , it's your owner who is running them into the ground , no coach wants to go there. He hires guys he can control. Teams don't win with super stars...you need the roll players.....i'm not a Patriots Fan ...... but other then Brady who really is a superstar on that team.....they have great roll players, that became very good football players....yes, some even became pro-bowlers.

and for the Record i do say Go 'Fins!!!....where they go....without a QB, i'm guessing 3rd place place in the Division...get a QB ,they can contend for the Division...they have a almost great defense. Missing maybe a lockdown cover corner.

We do have role players. We had five guys in the Pro-Bowl last year, which sadly was the same number of wins we had. The fact that they were able to shine while playing on that team says a lot. Hell, even Jon, who apparently thinks the Cowboys are responsible for global warming, will tell you they've had a great line backing up a quarterback who can't close the deal. The problem isn't a lack of role players.

I'm holding out a lot of hope for Jason Garrett this year and I'm extremely excited to see what he can do with this team given what he was able to do in a few weeks last year.

ESPN's Trey Wingo tweeted a great question...

Which QB trio is better?

The Seahawks: Tavaris Jackson + Charlie Whitehurst + Matt Leinhart

The Redskins: John Beck + Rex Grossman + Kellen Clemons

Maybe I missed it, but I don't see anything in my post where I mentioned the Jests. I was responding to Jon's post about the Patriots.

MM....i'll give you the running back position....they did have 2 role players that excelled....recieves...Dez Bryant will be a super star if he keeps his mouth shut and play football. When i think of roll players...i"m thinking of guys that aren't house hold names that make a impact Like a Davon Bess from Miami , kevin Faulk from the Patriots

Marc Coloumbo was constantly there when Witten needed him and hardly anybody noticed. So few in fact that he was cut yesterday and that makes me a little sad. Gronkowski and Sensabaugh had some solid moments. When you're forced to sit through every game of an excruciating season it's easier to pick out the people that are still giving it their all, and doing it well. I need Austin to get back to where he was two years ago. Hopefully we can make it through a season without anybody dating a reality star and Dez can avoid turning into another T.O.

And as for this, yes. We consider it. We know it. Unfortunately, we can't fire the owner. All we can do is pray that he's learned his lesson after a humiliating season and he'll let Jason get in there, do his thing and put up some results. He let Jimmy do it for a few years and it earned him a few Super Bowl rings.

well Jessica got married...so you're safe there...Austin Miles will be fine.....Dez i'd worry a little about...stud receiver...but may need a attitude adjustment

but on a more important note...why are the Dolphins talking to Denver about Kyle Orton....why not Philly and Kevin Kolb

Matt Hasselbeck signs with Titans...i'm a bit surprised considering they drafted a stud for the position..thinking maybe the lockout, and learning the system, may be why....But Jake Delhome is out there , and i think he would make a better teacher!!

Allow me to be the exception...

I like Jerry. Does he always make the right decision? No. Should he walk the sidelines during games? No. Does his ego get in the way of good football decisions? Yes. Could he learn a lesson or two from the Kraft family or the Rooney family? Absolutely!!

That said, he has a passion for the Cowboys that few in world have. He loves that team and works his a$$ off trying to make it a winner. Not only on the field, but off the field as well. I will always respect and admire that passion. Reckless as it is sometimes.

I don't dislike him. Especially after watching the 60 Minutes special on him last year. I just wish he were a little more "hands off" when it comes to coaching the team. He genuinely loves that team. I'm hoping he gives Jason a chance to run the show this year.

Bruce Gradkowski to the Bengals to replace the now retired Carson Palmer. He will be a good fit until Andy Dalton is ready for the NFL.
