It's been a helluva ride this year with my Broncos. Glad to finally feel some real momentum and spirit about the team that has been missing since the Shanahan/Elway/Terrell Davis days. Hopefully next year they can actually be a real football team.

On another note, my almost 8-year-old has been telling everyone that he can pray like Tim Tebow and is clamoring for a #15 jersey for Xmas. While Tebow is still only a man, I fear the day he may do something, even inadvertently that may tarnish his pure image---but it is hella nice to have a sports role model who isn't a total thug. Tebow may be a little right of center for my tastes, but he's a good kid with a whole lotta heart.
Unfortunately, I know a lot of people who want Tebow to be exposed as a fraud, not only on the football field but also because of his faith and constant preaching (meaning thanking Jesus for each victory).
he's not the only Athlete that does that......almost any interview with a player starts with i wanna thank God!!!......and i don't think he is constantly preaching , he's thanking God , he's not pushing his beliefs on people . If people are following along with it ( The Tebowing) , they are doing it on there own.....Reggie White was the same way.....but ,no one really said anything then.
My point exactly. Don't know what it is about Tebow, other than the fact he is not playing the QB like Tom Brady or Drew Brees.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

he was popular coming out of college , and he wins.....and having a few comebacks like he did....it's a hot story!!

Tell me about it.
Chargers can look dominating when focused (right, Ravens fans?)

...and now they can look at those other chumps play into January while we choke on it  :x

bye, Norv! :-?

The "numbers" never lie, right? Therefore the AFC West must be the most dominate division in all of football :P :P

Sounds like the Chargers are going to blow up the team and start over. Bye Norv and AJ.

So now, let me see if I've got the playoffs set correctly — First of all, THE SEEDINGS:

AFC: (1) Patriots, (2) Ravens, (3) Texans, (4) Broncos, (5) Steelers, (6) Bengals
NFC: (1) Packers, (2) 49ers, (3) Saints, (4) Giants, (5) Falcons, (6) Lions

Sat, 1/7/12:  4:30 ET, Bengals (6) at Texans (3);  8:00 ET, Lions (6) at Saints (3)
Sun, 1/8/12:  1:00 ET, Falcons (5) at Giants (4);  4:30 ET, Steelers (5) at Broncos (4)

But why can't they tell us who the Pats, the Ravens, the Packers, and the 49ers have to face in week #2 of the playoffs, at least in general terms — you know, Packers play winner of Falcons/Giants game @ Green Bay, f'rinstance?  Or does it still have to do with the seedings?  In that case, can't they tell us that #1 seed plays lowest surviving seed after the wild card playoffs, or whatever the case might be?

I gotta know who to root for (or against) during Wild Card Weekend!!!

#1 seed plays the lowest ranked team. That's always the case.

No. But sadly one of them will probably be on the roster next year. One of them may even be starting. You would not believe all the discussion about getting a qb in the draft. I think it's a horrible idea personally but what do I know.

So, here are the playoff teams from last year:

AFC - New England, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Baltimore, New York Jets

NFC - Atlanta, Chicago, Philadelphia, Seattle, New Orleans, Green Bay,

AFC
OUT Colts, Chiefs, Jets
IN Texans, Broncos, Bengals
NFC
OUT Bears, Seahawks, Eagles
IN 49ers, Giants, Lions

...turnover rate remains about the same.
