Does Jimmy Bring the bad weather?

Post by parrothead216 »

Is it just us or does the weather seem to get bad right before or right after Jimmy visits an area.
Jimmy was here on Tuesday and the night before we had 6 inches of rain in some places. I remember when Jimmy was in Nashville last year he left and they flooded.

Can anyone else remember other times when Jimmy brought the weather with him!!?? :o :o

Last year at Bristow and Pine Knob were terrific! But I have noticed the Buffett Surge in other towns.

And the thunderstorm/hail/microburst show from 2 years ago at GW!

Actually that was a way more a violent storm than Hannah ever dreamed of being!

We had fantastic weather in Toronto, and, in fact, to every Buffett concert I've been to. Maybe I bring the good weather! [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

Maybe Jim Cantore is a part time roadie. You know wherever he's at the weather is gonna go in the crapper.

It's not a Buffett show here in the Burgh without a crazy thunderstorm at some point of the night. This year we lucked out till the end of the show it was a spectacular lightening storm in the night sky but we made it out dry before the rain came.

You"re right about that one......We had pretty good seats for a show at Star Lake and in the middle of the show the heavens opened up.There we stood with all the electrical cables at our feet in about 4 inches of water!!! :o :o Jimmy never stopped singing!!

We had near record setting heat Wed and Thursday. Weathermen have talked about our need for rain. Friday morning, a pretty intense storm, then a decent day. Friday night, well, let's just say that O'Hare officially had 6.9 inches of rain overnight. Many expressways closed due to flooding. Toyota Park even sent out a notice to ticket holders cautioning them about Flash Flood Warnings. Saturday forecasts called for 60% chance of rain in morning and afternoon. We had a few light (very light) sprinkles, but otherwise dry. While waiting in the lot for things to clear out, lots of lightening, and, about midnight, the rain started--not sure how intense or long, because once I got on the tollway north, the rains completely ended. What a weird week we have had!
