The Universal Laws of "It"

I was in a seminar last week when the speaker made a statement, "If you can measure it an engineer can improve it." My mind starting racing about the laws of "it."

1- If you can measure it an engineer can improve it.
2- If you can measure it a capitalist can sell it.
3- If you can measure it a politician can tax it.
4- If you can measure it a bureaucrat can regulate it.

can anyone come up with more of these?

If you say it, it will happen...ie. you you say something won't happen at work, it usually will.
