On Saturday night Jimmy Buffett hosted a star-studded party to celebrate his wife Jane’s 60th birthday:
Billy Joel paid tribute to Jimmy Buffett’s wife at her 60th birthday party, praising her for their long-standing partnership. Joel told us, “I said that Jane Buffett knows the secret of staying happily married to a rock and roll man. And I sang Otis Redding’s ‘Dock of the Bay.’ ”
The star-studded party at Buffett’s North Haven home Saturday night had VIPs partying in a tent and treated to performances by Joel, Jon Bon Jovi, Buffett — who wed Jane in 1977 — and James Taylor. Guests included Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jane Fonda, Jack Nicholson, Harrison Ford, Calista Flockhart, Richard Gere, Anjelica Huston and Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters.

It's a shame no one was there
Damn post office obviously lost my invitation.
Happy (late) Birthday Jane

We always have the slowest mail service, so I'm sure mine is "in the mail" too

Ditto - although now I'm wondering why my NEIGHBOR went away for the weekend!
GW - 7/19 Great Northern MOTM - 7/20-21 Hershey Labor Day Weekend Show - 8/29 MOTM - Oct 28
Here we are, maybe it's because in spite of all the work we do
It's the child in us we really value
Here we are, with our fins up and our feathers flashing
Here we are, with our coconut shell brassieres chanting
I knew I shouldn't have checked this thing before my morning jog. I just couldn't go out the front door without responding. It is nice to know that there are so many thoughtful people out there. Going home this afternoon.
Sounds like just a little gathering of the folks on the cul de sac . . .
They probably had a big cooler of Landshark beer and a folding table set up with all the different Margaritaville rums and tequilas. Another table had a couple of Margaritaville Frozen Concoction makers cranking away. Jimmy stuck a Margaritaville Tailgate Grill on the back of the Green Tomato and heated up a mess of Margaritaville frozen shrimp . . . .
I know the voices in my head aren't real, but sometimes they have really good ideas....
