DAMN!
I could ride the Amtrak train from Mount Pleasant right into Denver for $160.00 round trip. (With my Veteran's Advantage).
Something to consider. [smilie=happydance.gif]

I heard the same thing. I should be able to make Phoenix, since it is a short (city bus) ride away.

AND, February is "shorts and flip-flop" weather here. (Today was only up to 114!!)

Alas, no ticket prices yet.

During the pre concert activities at tonights concert in VA, Jimmy told the listeners on Radio Margaritaville, that they are going to perform in FINIX Arizona. I am so stoked.

Hmmm, 2 cities where I haven't seen Buffett yet. In fact, I've only been to Colorado once (I think it was about 1981 or '82) and Arizona twice (1978 and 1998). If there's any chance the Denver show would be at Red Rocks, I'm so there. 8)

FYI, the final shows on the Red Rocks Calendar are Sept 30th-October 2nd....the earliest is usually in May so it doesn't look likely.

It can be 70 in January in Denver, it can also be -15.

If Phoenix and Denver are between the Vegas shows, you might as well do all 4 in one week. :D

This is awesome news!!! Sooo happy Jimmy is returning. Now I just hope that the date is not the 13th of Oct. since I am heading to Vegas for the opening of the Margaritaville Casino and shows.

The Venus?? Probably would be Pepsi Center so if you look at the events happening there during the Vegas Week or the week before Vegas, that leaves the 13th of Oct or 18th of Oct.

There has been a lot of concerts recently at the First Bank Center in Broomfield but that only hold around 8500 so that might be a little small for Jimmy.

There is Red Rocks and Dick's Sporing Goods Park and as everyone is aware, any concert outside in Colorado after this Weekend leaves a great opportunity for Frozen Boat Drinks!

Bottom line is he is coming and we are happy!

Wherever he ends up in Denver I will be there. I promised my kids I would take them when he comes back so it will be fun, although tough on the wallet since we're going to Vegas for the second show. An October date in Denver means I will have no money for Craps in Vegas. We shall see I guess.

I'm just a little lackluster about it. Sure, I'm excited that he's probably coming to Denver. I just wish he'd get on with it already.

I'll do one or the other (not both) if they're not too close to the Hawaii dates.

Colorado Parrothead Club is saying it looks like Denver will be a Thursday in October. I would hope it is not the Thursday immediately before the Saturday Vegas concerts.
