Uncle Jim Rocks

Because, well because he just does.

So he needs his own thread reminding us from time to time.
The man is amazingly genuine and sincere in his work
with kids, his antibullying campaign and more.

So I figured he deserves his own thread to publicize
his many, many talents, websites, blogs and campaigns.

A single place on BN where his videos and messages
can be posted.

I went to a small songwriter's round last night to see him play. It was last minute (obviously he wasn't supposed to be in town) and short, but it's always a pleasure to see him. I met him at another songwriter's round a couple of months ago and when I saw him in Chicago he absolutely remembered me and remarked that I wasn't on crutches anymore. I know it's Nashville and people brag about southern hospitality, but that isn't always the case in the music industry. When he saw me last night he came up, hugged me and did the same before I left. He is genuinely an amazingly nice guy and I don't think I will ever not be impressed by his sincerity and kindness.
I knew this girl made of memories and phrases, who lived her whole life in both chapters and stages.
Danced 'til the dawn, wished all her worries away.

She's a long way from a West Nashville grand ballroom gown.

And don't forget, he helped save Santa's ponytail off at the Frisco show 2 years ago.
