We saw Zac Brown Band at Red Rocks the last two years. Showtime was 7:30, the website said gates would open at 5:00. We hit the gates right at 5:00 and ended up in the third row of cars in the lot.

There are two lots north of the venue and three on the south. No shade unless you bring it with you. There are not a lot of outhouses, but there are some bushes on the hillsides around the parking lots.

All lots exit via 3 two-lane roads that will probably have cars parked on one side. Two of those roads will put you on a two-lane county road and the other will put you on a two lane highway. Plan on taking some time to get out.

Drinking alcohol is not a problem before the show and neither is garbage. Friends of Red Rocks volunteers push trash cans through the lot collecting recyclable cans and glass bottles. Fans in the lot will see to it that anybody that makes a mess ends up in one of those trash cans.

If tailgating is your focus you will probably be disappointed, but you won't find a better concert venue.

If he comes back next year, Gunny, can I count on you to pick me up at the Amtrak station? 8)

Had a blast at the concert and so happy that I got to take the kids to a Jimmy Buffett concert. Always told my kids that if he comes to Denver, we would take them and we did. Even made the Big Screen towards the end of CILCIA. Thanks to everyone that stopped by our Tailgate and played Plinko.

If he plays Red Rocks next year, I'll sell a body part if I have to.
