157 every 7 years or so.... comes out to like 22 a year.~Hippolyte~ wrote:NICE!! but I couldn't bring myself to pay $157 eachSharkOnLand wrote:Woot! Section AAA, Row 11!

I've seen him 13-times since he was last at the Pepsi Center (including our meeting in Aspen)....so section 236 isn't bad....it's where I wanted (on the side) but one section higher than I hoped.

Yeah, yours should be pretty decent seats. I sat club level in 2003, but at the end of the arena, facing the stage head-on. Being all the way across the arena, they weren't the greatest seats, but yours should be much closer.~Hippolyte~ wrote:Yeah, makes sense.SharkOnLand wrote:157 every 7 years or so.... comes out to like 22 a year.~Hippolyte~ wrote:NICE!! but I couldn't bring myself to pay $157 eachSharkOnLand wrote:Woot! We HAVE to find each other to meet, finally!!SharkOnLand wrote:Woot! Section AAA, Row 11!
I don't live in Denver, but if you were to get a hotel downtown, it shouldn't be too hard to get to the arena via light rail or a cab.LIPH wrote:So, if an out of towner were to show up, what hotels are in the area and is it possible to get by without renting a car?
Definitely! I don't know how much tailgating we'll be doing, as it's a 4 hour drive from our place to up there... but we will definitely get there a few hours before the show starts and hopefully meet up with the BNers.SMLCHNG wrote:We HAVE to find each other to meet, finally!!SharkOnLand wrote:Woot! Absolutely.LIPH wrote:So, if an out of towner were to show up, what hotels are in the area and is it possible to get by without renting a car?
There are hotels downtown and well within walking distance from the arena but their prices are normally 150+ a night.LIPH wrote:So, if an out of towner were to show up, what hotels are in the area and is it possible to get by without renting a car?
Plus also, the Capraro taxi service is willing to do an airport run, if needed.buffettbride wrote:Absolutely.LIPH wrote:So, if an out of towner were to show up, what hotels are in the area and is it possible to get by without renting a car?
It is easy to get from airport to downtown by cab or public transportation. The Curtis is the closest (affordable) hotel to the Pepsi Center and walk-able to/from the venue or a $5 cab ride.
Are you staying the night in Denver?SharkOnLand wrote:I don't live in Denver, but if you were to get a hotel downtown, it shouldn't be too hard to get to the arena via light rail or a cab.LIPH wrote:So, if an out of towner were to show up, what hotels are in the area and is it possible to get by without renting a car?

Yeah, we're gonna stay Tuesday night. Not sure where yet. I'm a big fan of the Drury Inn near the Tech Center.buffettbride wrote:Are you staying the night in Denver?SharkOnLand wrote:Definitely!
