We would have been right behind you except I was a dumbass and only bought one. :-? Not too shabby, though, we're on the side in section 126. Glad I could correct quickly enough to still get tix.

In other news, if anyone wants a single in AAA Row 14, face+fees is all. :D

157 every 7 years or so.... comes out to like 22 a year. :P Since I don't travel to see Jimmy, I figured it was worth a splurge. :pirate:

We can get Parrothead Club tickets, and had already put in our request.

E just surprised me with : Section CCC Row 19 Seats 3&4, same price, better location. :D (Last time we went we were in the uppper 300 section, and sound sucked).

Yeah, makes sense.

I've seen him 13-times since he was last at the Pepsi Center (including our meeting in Aspen 8) )....so section 236 isn't bad....it's where I wanted (on the side) but one section higher than I hoped.

Yeah, yours should be pretty decent seats. I sat club level in 2003, but at the end of the arena, facing the stage head-on. Being all the way across the arena, they weren't the greatest seats, but yours should be much closer.

So, if an out of towner were to show up, what hotels are in the area and is it possible to get by without renting a car?

I don't live in Denver, but if you were to get a hotel downtown, it shouldn't be too hard to get to the arena via light rail or a cab.

Definitely! I don't know how much tailgating we'll be doing, as it's a 4 hour drive from our place to up there... but we will definitely get there a few hours before the show starts and hopefully meet up with the BNers.

Absolutely.

It is easy to get from airport to downtown by cab or public transportation. The Curtis is the closest (affordable) hotel to the Pepsi Center and walk-able to/from the venue or a $5 cab ride.

There are hotels downtown and well within walking distance from the arena but their prices are normally 150+ a night.

Plus also, the Capraro taxi service is willing to do an airport run, if needed.

Yeah, we're gonna stay Tuesday night. Not sure where yet. I'm a big fan of the Drury Inn near the Tech Center.
