Hosted by NZ. Anybody watching?
http://www.rugbyworldcup.com/
The US is in a pool with Italy, Ireland, Russia, and Australia.
US plays
Ireland (not Australia, sorry )tomorrow (9/11). Australia and NZ are perennial favs, but there are some surprises in store, I'm certain.
Go Eagles!
(sorry, a little bit of my Redskins soul just died when I uttered those words)

Great game, rugby. I played it from the time I was 29 until I was 38.
Good memories, stiff neck.

Great game, I watched not expecting much from the US team since rugby isn't much more than a club sport here. I was very impressed with their defense and heart all the way to the end. I do hope NBC covers more than just the games the US plays. There will be some great games in the later rounds

That was the Eagles best effort against a Tier 1 in a long time.

The next match for USA vs Russia might be their best chance to win a RWC game ever. Go USARugby. I got hooked on the game when the US Navy stationed me in New Zealand during the late 80's. I got to attend the 1st RWC final in 1987. New Zealand vs France at Lancaster Park, Christchurch NZ. Seeing the Haka in person was a real treat. So was seeing 2 of the best teams ever play.

I really enjoyed watching the sevens from Las Vegas on TV last year (I think it was last year?) Never really sat down to watch a full rugby match, but I might have to now.

Just pretend they are playing Dallas and it will be okay.

All Blacks - even without their star kicker. And for the record, NBC is apparently showing the final.

I'm wearing my All Blacks jersey to honor their win. Had a good friend who's a huge fan, so I honor her as well. GREAT GAME!

That was a great game. The All Blacks were very fortunate to hang on for the victory. Great effort by France.
