NOOOOOO! I'm going to be in Montana then.
I always count on Jimmy between June and August not April. This may mean I'll miss my first show in Atlanta in 9 years. Please let this just be a bad rumor

So rumour has it that he's gonna do stadiums from this point on. Heinz Field in Pittburgh would be really coolas long as I'm on the field. I can hear it now, "I like mine with lettuce and tomato, "Heinz Ketchup" and french fried potato".... at this point the two big ketchup bottles above the scoreboard
at Heinz Field, pop open, tilt and pour the imaginary ketchup on the big screen on a giant digital cheeseburger. That would be cool! Plus there is plenty of parking. I would miss going out to Star Lake but that is just how it goes sometimes.

BOR:
I was discussing the Labor Day rumor with my SO this weekend. He thinks it's a possibility, but thinks it would be unlikely that they'd allow fans on the field. Rumor has it that the new stadium will have natural turf - and if that's so, my SO doesn't think the Patriots would appreciate having their new field trampled just weeks before the start of football season.
What do you think?
Deb.

Besides I doubt Jimmy would paly at Turner Filed for a few reasons, 1- he just did an Atlanta show in November and he doesn't ususlly do 2 shows in the same city a few months apart 2- April is still a bit chilly at night, even in Atlanta 3- His November show in Atlanta didn't sell out for a few days and even the the day of teh show there were plenty of tickest left. Why would he go play in a larger venue if he had a hard time selling out a smaller venue a few months prior.

A stadium tour will probably provide more seats overall than an amphitheater tour -- certainly more the last 'abbreviated' shed tour. Either way I hope he doesn't give the Maryland/Virginia area short shrift this time. He has a lot of fans within 100 miles of D.C. (present administration not withstanding).
Anybody care to venture a guess as to which venue he might choose here? My guess is RFK stadium in D.C. -- he certainly won't run into any baseball conflicts! But there must be other opinions. I'd like to hear 'em.
