Jacksonville/St. Augustine, FL in November

Post by Wino you know »

The week before Thanksgiving.

It's been awhile, and I'm overdue for a trip there even though it'll be for work.
Looking forward to it.

I'll insist on that, Michael.
I'll be cooped up in conferences every day from 8 AM to 5 PM, but the evenings are free.
The conference actually starts on that Tuesday. I'll arrive somtime Monday evening. I'm driving down-taking a "company" car.

Thanks.
The conference has always been held in reallly nice places.
Last year it was in Indianapolis (downtown, around the corner from HOOTERS), 2008 it was in Nashville, about 4 miles from the nearest HOOTERS, and in 2005 it was in Myrtle Beach, less than a mile from Margaritaville, and three miles from HOOTERS. Best conference was in 2003 at Ft. Lauderdale.

How great is a boss who would send an employee away with a company credit card to a location where there's a Margaritaville AND HOOTERS! 8)

Maybe I can drive up from Tampa and see you.

That is, if you aren't too sick of me from MOTM.
I knew this girl made of memories and phrases, who lived her whole life in both chapters and stages.
Danced 'til the dawn, wished all her worries away.

She's a long way from a West Nashville grand ballroom gown.

SICK of seeing you???
Are you KIDDING me?

I loved seeing you in Chicago, and would LOVE to buy you dinner one night in Jacksonville or St. Augustine.
Did you just recently move to Tampa? You were living in Nashville for a while, right?

(I'll be spending the first night in Nashville with a friend, so if you were to be there, we could meet somewhere).

I'm still in Nashville. I'm leaving town in 12 days and moving back to Tampa.

There are a lot of Hooters in Nashville, too. [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

I know Nashville VERY well. (I lived in Memphis for 6 1/2 years, and still get down to Nashville every so often).
I've been to the HOOTERS in downtown Nashville and to the one just off of I-65 south.
