The show near Atlanta is tonight! I'll post a review, it'll start with "GREAT SHOW!..." Pete's got some connection with a member of Smokerise Baptist so he's does the show there for free.

As always it was a great show! He does some old stuff and some new stuff and a CD copy of the show was available for $25 at the end of the performance. He's also got a new live CD of his other music.

Saw S&P last night in North Carolina. It was a great show! 6 musicians and at least 40 instruments on stage. The second set opens with an "old school" radio show on stage narrated by Steve Huntington. Well worth it!

Looking forward to Sunday. I really enjoyed it the year the children's choir helped with the drummer boy and of course the bell ringers. I'd be thrilled if both participated this year, but would be very very happy with one. I also thought the show was better when it was in the sanctuary. Still the highlight of my christmas season.

Hey, does anyone know of a good BYO restaurant near the church? We go to carrabbas but I'd rather provide my own overprice liquor.

We saw Stars and Promises last night in Somerville NJ and it was FABULOUS!!!!! As others have said, some old stuff with new arrangements mixed with new stuff keeps this show fresh and captivating!!!! If you're on the fence about going to this show, JUMP!!! Do not hesitate to go!!!! Fill yourselves with the spirit that only a Stars and Promises show can instill!

Have fun in Lancaster, we miss being there with all of you!

Wow, Lancaster got an awesome show. Loved that it was upstairs in the sanctuary. Every song seemed to be rearranged for this season. Amazing acoustic Go Tell it on the Mountain. Loved Steve Hunington's narration. Best show I've seen yet. I'm embarrassed that I considered missing out this year.

I'll be at the Stars & Promises concert Thursday night in St. Louis.
Last year in Moline, IL was fantastic. I'm so pumped for this year's show, I may not sleep until Friday.

Agreed..... [smilie=coolup.gif]

Lancaster was our 7th S&P show and, I think, the 12th time we've now had the pleasure of hearing Peter play live. He just keeps getting better (if that's possible!).

It's also been a pleasure seeing how this wonderful Christmas concert has evolved and improved over the years, too. His band members are each, in their own right, fantastic musicians and together.......wow. Our Christmas now wouldn't be complete without our attending this concert. Thanks to Peter, Maggie, Marc, Scott, Chris, Mark, and everyone who makes this show a reality.

Also picked up Peter's new live CD "Under Your Spell" at the show. This is a compilation of 3 shows from this past summer. We were lucky enough to be at the concert in Annapolis, MD. The sound quality is probably the best for any live album I have. All his music (and others, too) is available at www.littleflockmusic.com.

Was also at the Lancaster show. the setting is soooooooo much better in the sanctuary than in the gym. This was also our 7th year of seeing Stars and Promises. Like others have said, pretty much the same songs but each year at little different arrangement. Still a "must see" for our Christmas season.
