The first tour date of 2012. There is really no where to do a proper tailgate, but we can enjoy ourselves at Bayside Marketplace before the show. There is a Hooters there for certain people who might attend.
The best lot option is one that is two blocks south of the arena. It has a Subway and a McDonalds close by as well as buildings that are part of Miami Dade College. This helps with the restroom issue. The woman there today said parking would be $50 for Buffett. I'm not sure if the is true or not. I paid $7 there today and the circus is in town. There is parking in the middle of US1 that would be $15 or $20 for the day, but you can't tailgate there. There are other lots but the restroom issue comes into play. I know we will not have a huge gathering, but if a couple of us carpool and get into that lot, its not that big of a hit on the wallet. Others can park in the municipal lots and join us in the lot. The other option is the Miami Parrothead Club party at Bayside Marketplace. Its restaurants, bars and retail. The link to that is on page 6 of this thread. I'm looking at hotel options now before the reasonably priced places nearby are full or get jacked up. I've found a few interesting options so far.
