Hi Friends - Just wanted to share a hotel deal for members of the armed services, fire and rescue, law enforcement, or medical personnel in Duck Key.

Hawks Cay Island Resort has a special called "Heroes Welcome". They offer a $99.00 rate for weekdays, $129.00 for weekends or if you stay 3 nights ($99 for both weekdays & weekends). They do charge a $25 a day resort fee but this place is swanky. If you like a little luxury in the Keys this is a nice spot. Carol, Dave, Chris & I stayed here two years ago and it was beautiful but Chris prefers more of a fishing village setting..

Just got us two tickets to Scott Kirby and Peter Mayer's 9pm show Oct 31 at the Smokin' Tuna. GA Tickets to both shows are still available.
Also got us tix for the Nov 4 Catamaran Concert with Thom Shepherd. Judging by a youtube vid I've seen this could be fun!

There are several pit stop parties that I know of. Where/ when are you coming in from?
I don't get there until Nov 1~ hope there's still some rum left in KW by then!
