Oh goodness, I hope he doesn't even take the mole off his face.
Ohhhhh, I didn't think we might need to start a save the mole campaign! It's cute.

OK I understand the above was a joke BUT
Those of us parrotheads who live down here in Oz have a thing when it comes to moles and the like.
You see we have the highest rates of skin cancer, melanoma and all of those nasties in the world, four times the rate of the US - Melanoma is our most common cancer for those between 15 and 44.
So if you have changing spots, moles or the like, get it checked. A liitle pain early is nothing to the alternative.
Seriously as parrotheads we enjoy the sand surf and sun, making us prime candidates.

I go to my dermatologist at least once a year for a full body scan. I laid out in the sun all my life, and I'm taking no chances.

Somewhere/sometime he said that it was a tennis/surfing strain repair.
That was one large arena.

Don't put it off too long. Colon cancer is a vile way to die.
OK so it took a while......but I did it! And you know what? It wasn't that bad.

The anticipation is much worse than the event......even the dreaded "prep" wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.....
the 'sleep juice' they give you is worth the price of admission!

I had some lower unit problems quite a few years ago. So a colonoscopy was in order. The prep was unbelievable. After I finished the gallon and emptied the last time I actually developed rectal dry heaves. Anyway I did have some polyps. They were removed and no cancer was present but I am on the 5 year plan now. The prep is better and the feel-good drug is much easier to awaken from. the old drug hit me hard into the next day. I can now actually drive away from the clinic. I think it is the same stuff Michael Jackson used, really. My wife had a colonscopy and endoscopy at the same time. She was fine until the nurse said they used the same scope for both ends. She didn't remember a thing.

I'm still on the ten year plan. Thank goodness.

Yeah the stuff is Propofol (now better known as Michael's Milk because it's white and well you know......) is great!!!! Last thing I remember was telling the anesthesiologist that I had tickets for Buffett in AC and next thing I knew I was in the "wake up" room. I had a direct line sight of clocks in both places and I was out for 45 mins. I woke up feeling really rested and not at all groggy. I left 30 mins later and went out to lunch.
The worst part for me was not being able to eat raw vegetables for 3 days and only clear liquids the day before. I tend to eat small meals during the day and by 4 pm I had started to sweat and get shaky. I was fine after having some apple juice but I now know what it feels like to be a diabetic who's blood sugar has started to drop!
The prep I did was Suprep. It has a lot less liquid volume but tastes gross and tends to make people vomit and you have to do it once at night and then again in the morning. I just got a little queasy in the morning but it passed pretty quickly.

Prep wasn't as bad as I'd thought. No biggie.
The worst part is not eating ANYTHING from 10pm Tuesday night until ... well NOW ... 40 hours of hunger.
About to chow down on a huge stack of pancakes and some scrambled eggs.
Endoscopy and colonoscopy ... heck ... I don't remember a thing.
Results look very good. I worried too much. Doc gives me an solid A-.
