We have been regular visitors to Anna Maria for 15 years. It's just a fantastic place to stay.
Let me know if I can help?

I will. Thank You. I have to talk to the "other" people. Sometimes getting an answer is like pulling teeth. We expect 7-10 people to go.

We will be there in 4 more days and can't wait! This will be our 9th trip in five years. We stay on the north end where it's quiet. We have 4 kids that range in age from 15 to 24. You'd think they might get bored but they love the laid back, chill atmosphere. We kayak (with a pod of 8 wild dolphins last year & 5 manatees a couple of years before), bike, body surf, shell, do a little shopping, do "a beer on the (City) pier late in the afternoon & do a lot of dreaming about moving there someday while relaxing on the beach. Once we were able to afford to travel with the kids our plan was to see a different place every year - but we found AMI instead. Now, we usually take the family the 1st week of May (college graduation interferred this year) & we go back in late September or early October because it just feels like home now.

AMI, laid back, small, great beaches.
We have a timeshare on Longboat Key and were to go this year but hubby couldn't get the time off.
So it's been a few years since we have been to the area but LOVE IT!!
There is Sarasota, Siesta Key (talking talcum powder sand) to explore too.
St Armands Circle is a great place to shop and people watch.

Rod and Reel in AMI has some terrific food. Laid back, no fuss kind of place.
Can't think of the beach that you can get food?? We had pancakes and sausage on morning.
Bradenton Beach, Coquina Beach
Ran out of time, have to get ready for work. Yet another

LOL, you made a good choice of AMI
