I have this feeling he may switch gears altogether and do something like August again - we'll see soon I imagine!

I hope it's not the 9th....i have a wedding that day!!!
Why do people insist on getting married during concert season?!!! [smilie=cheeky-grin.gif]
Well for one ....they like, but aren't huge Buffett Fans......it's what was available ,t were they are having the reception....Cruises are cheaper ( Going on the new huge ship..they already did the Oasis at the Sea).....and during Football Season is out, HUGE , HUGE , HUGE Giant fans (Season Ticket Holders)......also Jim Morris is Playing in CT that day (Metro and Morris)!!!....so i'd miss that too.....but, he does Southwick , MA the next night , which is a lot closer to me!!

Jim Morris would never factor into my decision to do (or not do) anything. (Did I sound like Larry?) :D
Yes u do.....but, it would hurt the Charity they are raising money for, if people went to the Buffett Show.....a lot of NE Parrothead's were there last year!!....it was a lot of fun!......i'm not worried about that, due to....June 9th is early for Buffett to play GW!!!

yeah, with the weird weather we're having it might snow then!

Adrian has noted in his last post that we can put together a pot luck lunch for the tailgate. Last year, we brought a few gallons of gumbo. This year we were thinking of bringing a small propane grill and some Brats, Knocks, buns, condiments and kraut for about 50-60. Anyone have any other ideas? Can we start a list of what's being brought? Gotta take care of those pesky munchies!

Got to St Petersburg and go to Ft DeSoto. Awesome beaches and other things to do! Not crowded like the other beaches, especially during the week.
Do they still have the nude beach over there?
Not that I know of although I have seen girls sunbathing away from everyone with there tops off and that's all. The only nude beach I know of is Playalinda on the east coast in Canaveral National Seashore park.

I would try Priceline. I got mine for the whole week from Avis for $280. Start low and build up one bid at a time. You'll likely save some $. Now the hotel room, on the other hand...

Too early for priceline......I've gotten a $400/night hotel room in downtown Boston for $170/night 4 days out. :D But we did rebook with carrentals.com and got it for $204. We can still cancel if we priceline it a couple of weeks out. [smilie=cheeky-grin.gif]

Okay, we are changing our menu for the tailgate. Just scored 15 pounds of conch so were are going to skip the grill and brats and bring a small propane fryer and fry up some fritters with dipping sauce. Anyone have a good dipping sauce recipe to share?
