Who's going to Little Rock 03-01-12?
The Fin Men will be in Little Rock. This is our first show there, so does anyone know what the tailgating will be like? Where is the main setup area for a good time?
Let's get this thread going!! See you all soon....FinsUP!

Re: Official Little Rock Pre-Party Page
Verizon Arena is in downtown NLR and there is a tiny RV park adjacent to it by the river and I'll bet there will be limited tailgating...dont know fer shure....wish they had set up the concert at War Memorial stadium in LR---serious tailgating there, but oh well...trolley service back and forth from Lr to Nlr...good restaurants and bars on both sides...pedestrian bridges...kinda chilly in March tho'Fin Guy President wrote:The Fin Men will be in Little Rock. Re: Official Little Rock Pre-Party Page
I looked at Hilton brands since we do points with them. Seems like there was a Hampton very close and also there is the Hilton Little Rock Medical Center Hotel about 10 minutes away (5.5 miles) from Verizon Arena that has a good rate (or it did yesterday).RainTree wrote:Does anyone know which hotels are near the arena?

Re: Official Little Rock Pre-Party Page
I also noticed on the venue's website that this will be a totally paperless ticket process. Don't know how I feel about not having a concert ticket stub.
Their website says it is to help prevent ticket scalping. Wonder if maybe we will be able to get better seats as a result?

The Little Rock Parrotheads will be at the RV park. We have the pavilion reserved. The process is not completely paperless. There are only 3,000 paperless tickets available. The rest are available through email when you order online and at the box office. The Wyndham Riverfront is within walking distance. I am also interested in the presale password if anyone gets it.

I'm coming for NWA with a Buffett virgin or two. Interested in pre-sale password when it drops. This will be concert #20 for me and my second one in the state. Went to the Wal Mart show, even though I didn't really work for Wal Mart.
Takin my time with my days.

It doesn't appear that there is going to be a presale. Ticketmaster and Margaritaville are not showing that there will be.

Re: Official Little Rock Pre-Party Page
The Doubletree across the river is still available, running about 125 a night. This one, the Peabody, and the Courtyard by Marriott are all on the RiverRail streetcar line. The Peabody is running about 199 a night for a king, Courtyard is booked up.PHarmGirl wrote:I looked at Hilton brands since we do points with them. The streetcar has a stop for the Verizon arena with a short walk to the venue.
There is a Residence and a Fairfield inn about 5 miles up the interstate with rooms.
We're booked at the Doubletree- just hop the streetcar and not have to deal with parking
