and thru my smart phone I also listen to WPCF -AM radio 1290 out of Panama City FL. I use the App "Tune In Radio" which also allows me to listen to Radio Margaritaville and Beach Front Radio. I also know Live 365 has a few Tropical stations you might like...

Enjoy! :D
Have you tried any of these with a smartphone and/or iPad?

I have an HTC Incredible II and Tune In Radio works great...I listen to it in my Jeep almost daily thru a cheap FM transmitter....next step is to upgrade my head unit in the Wrangler to one that has an Aux. Input so I can plug in directly.

Using the search feature on TuneIn Radio, I recently found Boatdrinks Radio. Sounds good thus far.

And this is the song he wrote for Jimmy back in the late 80s/early 90s

I am pretty sure this is a Michigan station as it has been promoted a lot by a Michigan artist, Don Middlebrook. It is nice to see a list. I listen to beachfront radio and conch republic radio a lot at work (don't tell!) I did a Google search for free trop rock stations and linked up with Conch Republic that way. Knew of beachfront from other BNers.

The best one is RadioMargaritaville. You can only find it with satellite radio or online. I listen online. It's just as good as satellite

NSR is very good. It's partially responsible for my transformation from a country fan to a PH.

I received an push update for the Tune In Radio app for my iPhone yesterday. I lost all my presets but the sound quality really improved. Several other changes in the search mode and how the app looks on my phone. Other than finding my presets again, I am very happy with the update.

Loss of the pre-sets might have due to operator error. A couple of new features are the buffering percentage indicator and the related station page, ie, if you are listening to RM, you can slide the screen to the right and you will see a page of stations from that genre. Nice touch.

While in Key West on vacation last week my wife & I treated ourselves to a nice Mustang convertible as our rental.....I know, you can tell the tourists by who drives convertibles in the Keys! :pirate:

One evening we visited with friends who retired in 2008 on Ramrod Key about 27 miles north of KW. We all had a great dinner at Boondocks near our friends house (http://boondocksus.com/), then about 7 pm, my wife & I put the top down, and cruised south on Route 1 as the sun set over KW. Not a cloud in the sky, true paradise...... [smilie=superkewl.gif]

On that trip I was surfing on the radio and found a local station called "104.9 The X" (WXKW - The Music of the Keys). What a great selection of tunes and I was happy to find it online, too. Here's the link: http://thexkeywest.com/index.php (just click the "Listen Live" button).

Enjoy.....I'm listening to The X right now! [smilie=cool_goatee.gif]

Two good calls in one post! Sounds like Boondocks will be a good lunch stop when we finish snorkeling at Bahia Honda in July. Mr. Utley likes the pet friendly atmosphere and we like the "X"! Thanks for sharing.

I read the thread title and was thinking "Classic Vinyl" but then realized that's satellite so I have nothing to add to what's posted. Classic Vinyl is a pretty good station though

NSR has replaced Radio Margaritaville as my primary online station while on the internet......great mix of music. [smilie=coolup.gif]

I still listen to RM on Sirius/XM while in my car.........but wish I could get NSR on that, too!
