Soooo sweet - the way the mom is holding it. They are one of my favorite animals.

What a cutie!
Seeing the mom shove the baby up to them to check her over while she got shrimp was amazing. I notice the mom kept her eye on the little one, but didn't seem too concerned to have the vets looking her over.

A number of years ago the PA Game Commision reintoduced river otters to a few remote rivers. I found one (or I should say he found me) fishing one time up state. He sneaked up on me while I was wading...swam between my legs and made me get water in both hip boots. He was much bigger than I thought they would be. Lol
