Some of you may remember me and others may not but I have been around Buffettnews off and on for the past 9 years. For the past 2 years I have been off more than on. I was President of the WNCPHC for 4 years, giving up the office in April 2011. Needless to say I was losing my passion for all things Buffett (blasphemy I know).
Anyway...I had not seen Jimmy since MOTM and last night in Charleston was my 26th concert. And I have to say: it was fabulous! It was definitely the best indoor Buffett concert I have seen and has to be in my top 5 Buffett concerts ever! The music, energy, set-list, etc was spot-on. So my friends, the passion has resurfaced. I was reminded last night why I am and always will be a Parrothead. Thank you Jimmy and thank you friends for allowing me to share my thoughts.

After the GS show last year I didn't really care if I went to see him again or not. Not that I didn't still love the music and the lifestyle but more that I knew I had seen him in the best location when he was truly happy to be where he was doing what he was doing. It was the perfect JB show. I didn't even price tickets for any shows this year, till he announced B'ham. Dammit Jimmy I was getting on with my life and now here I am again!! 
What goes around shall come back around so its no surprise that your back. We all go through a stage where we ease away and do other things for a while. But there is always room for you to come sit by the fire down on the beach with all of us here when the time comes for the return.

Kind of how I feel having seen him on St Barths and then on Duval St last November. Being double parked under the Ben Franklin Bridge last year for 3 hours while the Camden Police wanted to exert that they were in charge has taken the edge off my excitement this year. I'm on the fence about seeing another show this summer. We'll have to see if we can swing a trip but I to am going through a low spot

I have not burned out on Jimmy yet since becoming a parrothead 13 years ago. If anything, his work has helped me have a more positive outlook on life. I've never been one to hit a million shows (wish I could though) and I go through phases where I might not listen for a while but I always come back.
