Started packing my tailgating supplies. The only thing left to pack are the perishables. I'll pick those up Friday afternoon. I'm counting down the days.

There's no parking charge or fee for this event, since it's not an official "event" or even "planned" and "organized" for that matter... See what I did there?

I'll be there!! Orginally got shut out on TM the morning sales started. Looks like those a-holes have a deal with 27 different brokers who all have dozens of good seats left. I scored some in section P row 20. Bringing my gf who's a virgin, so I hope it'll be a great tailgate and a great show. Can't wait!
We used to laugh at Grandpa when he'd head off and go fishing. But we wouldn't
be laughing that evening when he'd come back with some whore he picked up in
town.

Can't wait for Saturday... Maybe we'll find the lost shaker of salt at Qualcomm?

So my group of 9 is deciding on what to do. Do you know if there will be food vendors? If not we will make sure to bring a grill. We are bringing a flip cup table and we are bringing lawn games.

Corehole3, There will not be food vendors, I'd plan on bringing your own food and beverages. I assume the flip cup table also operates as a Beer Pong Table?corehole3 wrote:So my group of 9 is deciding on what to do. Do you know if there will be food vendors? I'm bringing a Weber Q grill, a small table (sorry, no beer pong on this one) and plenty of beer. I'll be cooking though out the day and I'll be happy to let others cook on my grill as well (I better bring extra propane just in case).
No food venders, but will there be other kinds of vendors? In some of the online videos I've seen, it appears that some of the Jimmy Buffet product makers show up and distribute samples.

For the Tailgate it wouldn't suprise me if there were people walking around selling custom printed shirts and license plate things and stuff, I think that can go either way. I know at Viejas however there will be PLENTY of merchandise that's very overpriced that you can blow some money on.MerrickBill wrote:I'm bringing a Weber Q grill, a small table (sorry, no beer pong on this one) and plenty of beer. I believe the key words from what the SDPHC had on their website is "Low Key". However, I will have a weber grill, chairs and adult beverages in Red Solo Cups as to not alert anyone in a security uni

Well put. I've never done the tailgating thing before and I'm really looking forward to it. What time are people arriving? I'm driving down from Los Angeles and I'm hoping to be there between 9 and 10 unless people think that's too early.venom949 wrote:lol This weekend is going to be awesome.

I think that might be a tad early. It's going to be a long day. If you got there at 2 you would still have 6 hours before the concert started. Regardless of how many times you've tailgated, you first timers need to pace yourself a little, this ain't going to be one of those sissy frat parties.MerrickBill wrote:Well put. I guess I'll roll in around that time as well. I may still leave a little on the early side so as not to be stuck in traffic. It's a 140 mile trip down the 405.venom949 wrote:LOL - I'm treating this like a Port Call in Australia or Singapore... I'll be there around 11-12ish ...
