Tuesday on the Island Tailgate - Official Pre-Party for the Jimmy Buffett Show in Des Moines at Wells Fargo Arena on April 17th
The Des Moines Parrothead Club and Isle of Iowa Parrot Head Club have joined with Wells Fargo Arena to bring you the "Tuesday on the Island" tailgate party. Admission will be $5 with a portion of the proceeds going to both clubs charitable funds! We should be getting tickets to distribute via the club soon, or you may purchase from Wells Fargo. Please purchase your tickets in advance and help us to Party With A Purpose the day of the concert, right here in Des Moines!!! Those of you on the Iowa Events Center Cyber club should have received the message today, or you can read the details below or click on the link below:

Join us for a “Tuesday on the Island” Tailgate party right outside Wells Fargo Arena prior to the Jimmy Buffett concert on April 17! The party will run from 1-7pm in the parking lot north of the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center.
There will be live music, outdoor games, food and drink specials, giveaways and more!
Tickets cost just $5 with a portion of the proceeds being donated to charities supported by the Des Moines Parrotthead Club and the Isle of Iowa Parrotthead Club.
Tickets for the tailgate party, which does not gain you access to the concert inside the arena, may be purchased at the Wells Fargo Arena Box Office or by calling Jason at 515-564-8146 starting March 12.

GREAT TO HEAR about this, will be there for sure, do you think downtown DSM is ready for this LOL
I was at the girls state basketball tournament last night and was just trying to imagine the scene for the real show a comin ! and just had to wonder where everyone will set up, I had to park several blocks away from the event center and it wasn't even half full.
Got my tickets secured today, right where I wanted to be, right beside the bar LOL Glad it is only 6 weeks away..................
I was at the show in 1985 at sec taylor, it was rained out, so it is about time Jimmy came back to finish the show !*~*!

The iowa events center sent out an email saying they would also be opening the parking lots at Principal park at 8 am on Tuesday for over flow tailgating, however the box office knew nothing about that yesterday when I called LOL
I was at the Iowa Cubs day game on Tuesday and can tell you it is a pretty good hike to the wells fargo from principal park, they should have a shuttle of some kind but have heard nothing about that.
I did pick up an extra pair of tickets yesterday for $12 a piece for 2 more folks wanting to go.

Just decided like an hour ago that we will be driving over to DM tomorrow afternoon for the concert. Where is the place to be? Does anyone know if there are still tickets available for the Parrothead Party?
