Schaumburg/Chicago Lego Land Discovery.Transportation?Fun?

Post by Dr.Corona »

Wife, D-I-L & Grandsons are thinking of making an overnight trip. Were considering taking the Amtrak train from here in Michigan to Chicago.
Does train system get you from downtown out to Schaumburg/Woodland Mall?
Has anyone been to this place? Any feedback about the place would be welcome as well as any info about places to stay in the area.

No where near the city. I am not too sure where the metra train would get ya near the mall, but ya can look it up on http://www.metrarail.com
Did you hear the one about me being a punk?
Did you hear the one about me being a drunk?
Did you hear the one about me losing my nerve?
Or how I'm just another f**** sheep in the herd?
Did you hear the one about me giving a s***?
Cause if I ever did I don't remember it.

Hello,

Lego Land is next to WoodField mall at Streets of WoodField. Metra gets you close to WoodField but you'll have to take a cab the rest of the way or check with PACE bus service they may have a trolly you can use get to the malls. Medianah or Rosselle are the 2 stops you need to get to. Never been to Lego Land but it's always crowded.

Have fun!
