We'll be there...not too thrilled with the venue choice! Mostly because of the tailgating (or lack thereof).

Well, I, for one am *thrilled* that we're back in Tinley (as you can tell!)
I understand some of the grumblings about tailgating, but I know that they will "allow" it... as they did in the past. Typically this meant a gate opening of 2-3pm....
With that being said, I know those of you that liked kicking off the day at 9am or so will be disappointed... but- like most things in life, the experience IS what you make of it!
Let's remember that Toyota is a SOCCER stadium.. not at all conducive to watching a concert! Not to mention without the lawn, the "cheap" seats were binocular friendly, at best.
So- chins up, my phriends! We have a date- exactly 100 days from today!!

I'll be there-this is a no-brainer for me. I don't really have a problem with the Tinley Park Amphitheatre (or whatever it's called these days), but the stadium personnel at Toyota Park are by far the best ever anywhere. Without exception.

Back to Tinley sparks my interest for this one. I'm normally on vacation then, but times are rough, so I just may be in town.

NOTE: I'd look for Jake to join Jimmy and the CRB on stage again! He's playing Ravinia the day after. Nice two-fer weekend!

Thank you for clarifying this for me! I actually have NO problem with not starting until 2 or 3. We don't bring a grill anyway, just pack up some sandwiches and snacks. I didn't go the last time he played Tinley, so I honestly didn't remember the tailgating rules. If they keep it this way, I'll be happy!

Don't forget the pre-tailgating at the Holiday Inn Convention Center parking lot... I feel like I have more memories roaming around there than I do the actual parking lot. I wonder if Johnny Russler and the Beach Bum Band will make a glorious return for Friday night festivities in the Holiday Inn lot? Or did they play in the afternoon? Or both? Dang, it has been a long time!

Last time at Tinley- 2007....BBB played that day... Saturday.... as a "pre-tailgate"... did it start maybe around noon??
