I looked at the rooms at Mohegan(for the fun of it & to try to confirm) and that Tuesday is more than double any other day of the week -so I say this rumor is true and now getting ready to book Microtel or BW -will definitely be there!!

Can't make this one.

Would make so much more sense for me if this show were in the fall.

I'd be all over it then but not so close to another show.

Ditto. And we have Laconia the week before GW and 4th of July travel right after that. And of course, "work" in there a few days, too.

But really, summer, I want to see JB outdoors. Mohegan is fine for the off season.

Exactly. It was different to have a Thurs/Sat show at GW, no extra driving or hotels etc were involved but this means packing up and leaving the Cape :( and going to CT, and going back to work right after. GW used to be a great long weekend. And I have tix the next week for James Taylor at Tanglewood. Doesn't work

It will be interesting to see what kind of turnout this one gets.

Well, if that were to happen then I suppose I'd go, it would be REALLY disappointing but I'd go

Probably would be interested.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Damn... been waiting for this..heard it was in the works...but Tuesday is tough...Thursday, like he's played in the past there is easy to turn into a long weekend....even without staying at the grossly overpriced Sun.

Man, I would love to do this show. I always wanted to go especially with the Mville in the casino! I can't swing it though, my guess is Camden is going to be right around there (21st I think) so like you guys mentioned its way too close together. It would be a cool fall date. Just like when he used to do late August AC and fall MSG. That was the best, just taking the train right into the city with my parrothead gear on. But im putting all my chips in with our annual bus trip to Camden. Hopefully we still get a MSG fall or AC

PS. Anyone know why rooms at Mohegan are so damn expensive? Every time I go I have to stay at a different hotel. Even when there aren't any concerts. Even AC isn't that expensive

Probably because the lack of hotels in the area....not much competition , so they can do it!!!....AC has tons of hotels and Casinos , they all want you to stay at there's so you get the deals. Yes Foxwoods is nearby, but again there isn't many hotels there either.

Microtel is quoting $110 for a "parrothead package" so I guess Mohegan is a definite. It includes a $50 M'ville credit.
