2012 The Masters

Post by conched »

First, the website is pretty special for The Masters this year. I enjoy seeing the different scenes each time you click on the main site.

http://www.masters.com/index.html

Second, really looking forward to the coverage and seeing the beautiful Augusta National on tv. Good stuff on the Golf Channel today already.

Another "Someday I will..."

I had a Chance a few years ago to go , a girl i was dating, lived in Atlanta and worked for a major corporation, who had tickets, she worked for the CEO and had control of sporting event tickets . We could of went to the Wed practice round. Didn't go, went to see the Braves play instead against the Mets. I sorta regret that move.

I'd imagine that tickets to one of the practice rounds would be all we'd ever get without connections.

Reminder to self to do something about it!

you can get them through Ticket agencies , but , it seems like mostly through connections. I'm not sure how they do tickets for the Masters . It may be a lottery of some type. 2 events i'd love to attend are The Masters and The NCAA Final Four . Maybe the Super Bowl if it's my team.

we need Masters predictions...other, then the 3 or 4 Favorites!!

1st timer never win at the Masters.....both good choices , for any other tournament. I like Webb Simpson , I always pull for Ricky Fowler. Would love to see a Adam Scott / Tiger in the last group on Sunday. Since Stevie Williams is Scott's caddie. 0r , Tiger / Phil , because i really think they dislike each other.

others in the Top 10 Rory , Hunter Mahan , Westwood , Rose and Stricker( he could win it too)

My long shot who plays well there and played well last weekend is Freddie Couples!!!....Gotta love Boom . Boom.

I don't think Bubba has a shot.....not his type of track!!!

and , last the 1st round leader will be someone never heard of, or unexpected.

These are my Master predictions....now tee it up!!!

Direct TV gives us so many channels to follow all over the course -I can't wait!!!! Would love to see Fred do it but he has played so much the last few weeks not sure if his back could handle it
All I really want is the last day to go down to the last hole -just want good competition makes it all worth it.

After his performance at Bay Hill, I think it's Tiger's event to lose.
Take me for what I am, a star newly emerging.
I accept the new found man, and I set the twilight reeling.

what hurt Couples in Houston , was , playing 36 on that Friday , he was playing great until the back 9 of the 2nd 18. You could see him trying to keep the back loose. Played ok the rest of the weekend , i think he would of been in contention on Sunday if it wasn't for Friday.

Jack, he is the logical pick because of the win, and his success at the Masters. It all comes down to the flat stick for Tiger.

It was nice watching Hunter Mahan, a native Texan, win the Houston Shell last weekend and he goes in as a Two Time Winner of a PGA event in 2012.

Love this statement: Credit to the mental coach...

Hunter Mahan won the Shell Houston Open last week and heads to Augusta National as the only 2-time winner on the 2012 PGA TOUR as he also won the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship back in February. Mahan credited his mental coach when he won in Houston last weekend and he said that he has been focused on trying to stay in the present and enjoy the moment. That philosophy relates to both golf and life in general and he tells himself to enjoy the moment even when he is in contention in a golf tournament on Sunday afternoon. He wants to believe that no matter what happens he will be able to persevere through the pressure.

i saw that on FB......The Sunday orange will look great with a Green Jacket....another plug for Ricky , love the Cobra AMP irons and Driver...tested them at a golf expo....once i get a job , those will be replacing my Cleveland T6's and my Launcher Driver.

I wish i was thin enough to wear those clothes. I'd look like the Great Pumpkin in all Orange.

One more thing?

If it comes down to Tiger and Phil on Sunday, who would you PICK?

Phil would have to be my pick, hands down.

(But don't get me wrong. I'm glad Tiger is back in the game. I think it has spurred Phil ON...)

She wears it well.....but , you never see Americans on top of the leaderboard on the LPGA tour....Lexi Thompson rocks the Puma wear..happened to notice that the other day.

Always Phil , one of my favorites. As for Tiger i respect his game and he is great , just don't like his personality, and how he thinks he is the game. Not fan friendly. I don't like how the media sucks up to him and walks on Egg Shells.
