Fantasy Fest Accommodations?

I am sure this has been discussed in many many posts before but I am just trying to get a more current update. We are thinking about going to Key West this year for Fantasy Fest and would probably like to get a small house/condo or apartment rental. If need be we will go for a hotel but that is second choice. What are some of your suggestions? After looking online there seems to be hundreds which meet our criteria so it would help to have some first hand reviews.
Thanks!

We go every yr and stay at the Truman Annex great set up off Duvall but within walking distance go to VRBO (Vacation Rental by Owner) be advised prices are much higher as this is a special event Truman also requires a min stay. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, be prepared for an insane time

This year will be my 9th Fantasy Fest! Yeah! We got a house rental about a block from Schooners this year.. monthly rental so we're there for both FF and MOTM. I always use Susie! (
www.KeyWestKey.com) and she always hooks us up with perfect accommodations! We stayed in Truman Annex for 5 years (porter lane and the emma house!) and it was awesome! Being that us ladies like to wear heels during FF.. closer to the action was our first request! (a pool 2nd..) Best part about TA is that if you use the far gate towards Mallory Sq (dont recall that street name!), you come out a block or so from Capt Tonys and the 4 corners where all the action is.. well.. most of the action! hahah...
and of course, prepare for a time of your life! wow!

I have been to Nine fantasy Fests myself pre-Kid days and miss it. I stay somewhere different most times I go but Loved the Eden House great location great people. Stayed there several times. I also like Wicker Inn Guest house on Duval super nice place and nice location. Anywhere in Old town and you won't be going wrong. If you want to spend the money one year I stayed at the Reach Hotel real nice place on the water with private beach and pool but it was like a toll booth. Eveyone had their hand out looking for your money.
Eden House would be my choice if I was to go again they do all kinds of little events and tolerate alot of crazy stuff that week

we had not luck with Susie as well so booked on our own. Every place had a minimum of 5 nights for Fantasy Fest and if not that it was a 7 night minimum. Even 5 nights is long enough on the island but it will be lots of fun. We are staying at a cottage rental in the Sanctuary a block off the quite end of Duval St, but sort of closer to Louie's Backyard for a few early morning bloody Mary's. It's gonna be fun!!!

We are in Truman Annex from the October 20th-30th. Maybe a BN meeting of the
Fantasy Festers @ Margaritaville one afternoon ?
