While watching my New England Patriots beat the crap out of the Pittsburgh Steelers, I heard 2 different Jimmy Buffett songs played in the backround during breaks in the game. "Volcano" was played during one of the 35 thousand instant replay challenges, and "Cheeseburger in Paradise" was played during another break in the action. Not to mention former Reeferette Sheryl Crow performed at halftime. While I am not a fan of the Steelers, they sure do play some good music while they get there asses kicked!

They also showed the Patriot's QB Tom Brady singing along to Cheeseburger. I knew there was a reason why I liked him!!

Here is my prediction....

At one point during the Super Bowl.... VOLCANO!!! Make sure everyone watches and listens carefully. Heaven forbid you should miss 30 seconds of the song on national TV. In case you do, feel free to put in SYKBH during any of the challenges and laugh, laugh, laugh at the silly verse "I don't know, do-do-do-do, I don't know". That Jimmy sure is clever.

I don't know if I can wait until Sunday!!

I hardly think the Pats "beat the crap" out of the Steelers. One lucky play was the game, a blocked field goal. Your offense better score more than 7 points if they think they will beat the Rams.
And yes, they do play really cool music at Heinz Field..........unlike they do at Foxboro

Sheryl Crow sang backup on the "Off to see the Lizard" album. And "That's My Story And I'm Sticking To It" was NOT the Buffett song, it was the country song popular a few years ago by Collin Raye.

This is really getting old. These idiots are just rehashing the same old news over and over again. It must be tough to start losing your mind and to start repeating yourself.

I realize that I too don't have a username, but at least I am a Buffett fan. This anonymous user who belittles us true fans for having no life is truly a loser. Are you suggessting it takes more time out of our lives to post what we find interesting, that being Buffett being played over the P.A system in Pitt, then it does for you to post 3 or 4 listings ridiculing us true fans. If you don't like it, don't read it.

Dear Ridicule,

I think there is more than one of us anonymous users out there, unlike your suggestion its one person posting it over & over. I never posted, I'm also a Parrot-Head, but you know hearing a song really isn't news....That's my opinion, I may be wrong......

To the anonymous user that is insulting true Parrotheads:
I think that anything to do with Jimmy Buffett is news. That is the reason I frequent this website, along with any other site having to do with Jimmy Buffett. If you do not wish to see or read this information, I'm sure there are plenty of other websites out there. If you do not like to hear news about Jimmy Buffett, I don't understand why you would come to this website, let alone come here daily & make rude comments to the Parrotheads. That's just not nice! As for the comment about having too much time on our hands, do you realize that we are spending our free time reading about something that we enjoy? We do not frequent websites that we do not like in our free time. This, I think constitutes having too much time on ones hands.

Would hardly call blocking a field goal lucky there Annonymous User. And was it just me or did they return a punt, have their backup QB throw a TD pass, and pick off Kordell Stewart 3 times? Hmm, luck huh. But this isn't NFL chat, this is Buffett chat. Sorry Parrotheads, but I had to get my two cents in on this one.
