You know him now as the man who wrote the song "Dear Jimmy Buffett",
but this is why Matt Hoggatt deserves attention.
This has all the strength and heart of a John Prine song ....
where the lyrics alone are meaningful
but when performed by the songwriter
become even more powerful.
A fantastic song Matt.

Re: Why Matt Hoggatt deserves attention
We had the opportunity to chat with Matt
last night for about an hour during
Jimmy's Dallas concert.
Matt joined us in the Critterville Cove
Tiki Bar Chat Room where
we gather to chat while
listening to the shows
on Radio Margaritaville.
After he joined Critterville Cove
and we traded a few messages
I decided to do a little more research
into his songwriting background.
Some very good stuff.
