Payton, Loomis, Brees, Buffett have Derby day horse
Fleurdefortyfour may not be the most famous horse running Saturday at Churchill Downs but he could have the most famous owners.
Racing on Kentucky Derby day, the 3-year-old colt is 10-1 in a 1 1/16th mile allowance race. He'll run under the colors of Last Mango Racing Stable.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up,totally worn out, and proclaiming,
“Wow, what a ride!!!”

to the Preakness with me every year
back in "the day".
Last year was my first return trip
in over a decade. The infield is still nuts.
