Sorry to be jumping past summer & looking ahead to the holiday season....but trying to plan wayyy ahead & nab a great rate on a hotel.
Would like to make it to the Mag Mile to witness the holiday season, but would like to avoid the major mass of humanity, so was thinking about maybe a weekday 3 day trip (Tues/Wed.Thur). Was curious if there is still many things happening on weeknights or if it's a night & day difference between weekends & weekdays when it comes to the music scene/later restaurant hours/etc?
Also, I know by doing the weekdays I would have to fight with the working commuters during the rush hour times....but if we venture out during the non rush hour times would the public transportation be reasonable to deal with?

You book now downtown, you should be able to get a great rate. Depends on what kind of music you wanna hear and all too. Way too far to know whos gonna be playing. Dealing with commuters, your in a bind. I am one of those commuters, and I hate to say this but, when people are commuting to work during the "rush" hours, we hate, wait.... Hate is such a strong word, we VERY STRONGLY DISLIKE tourists. Ya'll just get in our way while we are trying to get to work
