I concur. They turned in on at the right time. Impressive run. The Devils certainly made it interesting at the end and I'm sort of sad they didn't win since I was rooting for a couple of guys.Glorfindel7 wrote:Congratulations to LA on their first ever Stanley Cup for the franchise.

Things I wonder:
1. If the refs called a boarding penalty on Stoll's hit on Gionta, how much does the complextion of the game change?
2. Did Philadelphia fans have a hard time rooting for anyone in this series? Sort of a lesser of 2 evils.
3. Did everyone think Gange was going to drop the cup?
4. How many days until the first game of the 2012 season?
Twenty degrees and the hockey games on...

I'm surprised there haven't yet been any reports of the thugs rioting and burning down the city. (It IS Los Angeles, after all).

Re: LA Kings Stanley Cup
Yes that would have made a huge difference -if that call was made (and should have been) the other one would not have happened -but I have no idea what that idiot was thinking when he did it -it cost the Devils any chance of winning -I think it would have been another 2-1 gameHockey Mon wrote:I concur.
