Never again will I go in that water. I will tan, nurse a beverage and chastise grown ups and children who are behaving irresponsibly on the dunes.

I don't think it's a basking shark. Those sharks are really large. I think the towns people don't want to scare the toursits off. If you look at the photo, there is NO WAY it could be a basking shark just by how close the shark is..unless it's a real small baby, and then it would be with it's mother, right?

I had never heard of a basking shark. I do know the guys is going to be interviewed on wheb in portsmouth tomorrow. I hope I remember to give it a listen. Regardless, if that were me, I would be shopping for a new wardrobe right now.
